About Shayne...

I was born and lived in the Sooke area most of my life. I graduated in1985 from Edward Milne School in Sooke. I worked for the Department of Fisheries stocking and saving salmon fry in local creeks (I am very committed to Salmon enhancement). Joined the Military in 1986 as an Air Force Aero Engine Mechanic. Was posted to 442 Sqn CFB Comox Search and Rescue. Had an incredible 4 years working in the Comox Valley and playing sports in the Military (would love to hear from old friends, Lopes, Frank & Pep, etc). In my life I have been fortunate to be able to represent my Country while in the Military and play for Team Canada in sports. I Left the Military in 1991 and took the Real Estate Course. Played fastball for the Victoria Payless Team and won the Canadian Championship.

In 1992 to the present time I have worked mainly in the Sooke and Victoria Real Estate Markets.  In 1997 my first son Brenden was born (a Canuck & Salmon Kings fan). In 1999 my second son Jared was born (Spongebob and Hotwheels). Met my Fiancee Heather and her daughter Whitley (Dancergirl) in 2002. Since 2005 we have been one big happy family.

We own property in Sooke, Port Renfrew and Langford.  I believe in putting money where my mouth is.  I see these areas taking off, also the Westshore, Victoria and the town of Jordan River. The new circle route to Lake Cowichan will increase the activity in Sooke, Jordan River, Port Renfrew and Cowichan.

I have been very successful because I have been fortunate to be surrounded with great people, friends, clients, and colleagues.  My motto is to treat people the way I would expect to be treated. The Best.
